  Judith Cheney, President graduated from Wayne State University and has a background in social work, real estate, mortgage banking and internet sales. She and a partner developed The Rosemary Company, an online gift and special occasion company, in 1994 when the internet was in its infancy.

  As an older adult, the challenge of starting an online business was daunting, but exciting. As proof of its success, the Michigan based company, which started as a home business, recently built and moved into an 8,000 square foot building.

  One of her goals, as she and her husband neared retirement, was to spend winters in a warmer climate. So, in 2002 they bought a mobile home in a seniors park, set up a home office and started wintering (and working) in Florida. When a friend wanted to sell her mobile home and asked for help, Judy immediately turned to the internet and found resources sorely lacking.   Janell Lauer, Vice President of Marketing

  Janell graduated from Purdue University and has over 18 years of real estate sales, marketing and most recently, mortgage banking experience. She was looking for a change in careers as her husband nears retirement and they begin to think of moving to a warmer climate. Helping to develop an internet based company with her previous employer, Judy Cheney, seemed exactly the right challenge.
